The Family

Heidi’s husband Mikael McCahon is Rushmount’s full-time Farrier. While he has not had much time in the saddle over the past few years, he does have a wealth of experience. Heidi’s oldest daughter Hayden McCahon, currently 12 years old, is showing Pony Jumpers. She is very competitive and places in the top 5 regularly. Teagan McCahon, currently 7 years old is just beginning her riding career in camps and local horse shows. Together we are the foundation and we are continually adding to the Rushmount Family.

Hobbies

For 13 years Heidi was a professional arm wrestler with Team Canada – with her highest ranking at 4th in the world. Her daughter Hayden is following in her footsteps as her highest ranking has been 3rd in Ontario at the Provincial Championships. Arm wrestling has been put on the back burner during the development and continual infrastructure upgrading of Rushmount, however Heidi has set a goal to enter the Master’s Ring and win in 2018.
